Tax Advisory

For Individuals and Small Businesses

Few business and personal challenges can be more frustrating than working with the Internal Revenue Code, especially with the new changes imposed by the constant changes of the rules. Understanding that code and finding opportunities in it takes a full-time commitment. I have the commitment necessary to give you peace of mind.

At Frazier & Co., I combine a thorough knowledge of tax law with experience I’ve gained through years of working with individuals and small businesses. I provide tax planning strategies that work to minimize your tax liability and help you keep more of what you earn. Through proper planning, my goal is to eliminate any surprises at year-end. Paying too much in taxes can be troubling for small businesses and can negatively impact cash flow, so let me work with you to develop a plan to minimize your tax burden.

Consider the value you gain:

For Businesses:

  • Offer guidance on business decisions made throughout the year that will impact annual tax liability.
  • Employ strategies that will allow you to defer and/or accelerate revenue and/or expenses to another year, taking advantage of a lower tax rate.
  • Analyze your books at year-end for overlooked deductions.
  • Assist you on entity selection for your business to maximize available tax planning strategies.
  • Advise you on the timing of equipment purchases to maximize depreciation deductions.
  • Tax professionals dedicated to remaining up-to-date on the changing tax laws that affect your business.
  • Assistance with sales and use tax collections, remittance and reporting.
  • Income tax preparation, consulting, and planning for pass-through entities.

For Individuals:

  • Individual tax preparation, consulting, and planning

Still not convinced it is worth outsourcing critical responsibilities? Here are some other reasons why you may choose to get some extra help:

  1. Your Company Has Trouble Closing their Books on Time. In any organization from start-up to enterprise, information is key to making all major decisions (or even minor ones). Data is integral for knowing where you are, where you’ve been, where you’re going, and how (and when) you will get there. Information helps the organization analyze opportunities and make decisions based on historical data or fact as opposed to making a guess. Information is what turns business into a game of strategy instead of a game of chance.
  2. Your Organization is Experiencing Cash Flow Issues. If a company is experiencing cash flow issues, such as not having enough cash to pay employees, having high AR or AP, having out-of-control coats, or tight margins, a company will often hire an outsourced controller. The controller will be able to help organize and distill information that a CFO can then use to make strategic adjustments. Controllers are expensive employees to hire, command high salaries and benefits. There are hiring and training costs to be considered as well. Outsourcing the Controller responsibilities is a great way to save money-while still receiving the support you need to grow your business.
  3. Your Organization’s Books are a Mess. If your organization’s books are a mess, it could be due to a variety of reasons. You may have grown too quickly to keep information up-to-date and well organized. Maybe your organization never had financial systems in place until now, or perhaps you’re raising funding and realize you need clean, accurate books to approach potential financiers. Whatever the reason, an outsourced controller may be the right solution. An outsourced controller can take disorganized, inaccurate, or incomplete books and fix them. This service may often be in conjunction with an outsourced CFO who can help define and implement financial systems to keep books organized and easy-to-manage in the future.
  4. You’re Raising Capital or Preparing for a Merger or Acquisition. If your organization is preparing to raise capital or preparing for a transaction, you may enlist the help of an outsourced controller to ensure your books are clean, organized, and up-to-date. They will also be able to help poultry financial data that may be needed during due-diligence.
